Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far! I can't believe that it's almost the end of May, which means summer is almost here! My husband is a high school teacher, so he'll have a lot more time at home once school is out - yay!

This week, the Lawn Fawn team is collaborating with Chibitronics, an awesome company that makes "circuit stickers" to light up your cards and projects! It is so much fun to create light up cards!

I used the new Ahoy, Matey set to make this cute scene. And when you push on the X....

... the treasure lights up! It's so fun! The "push here" and arrow are from the new set Push Here and the banner is from the Bannertastic set. I die cut the scene from white cardstock and the Stitched Journaling Card and created the circuit on the kraft card base. I also stamped a bunch of images from the Ahoy, Matey set on the kraft base for a fun background.

There are more light up cards on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Cloud Backdrop

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and all of the new products will be available tomorrow! Yay!

Today, I am sharing a project that features the Stitched Cloud Backdrop die! This die adds a fun, stitched detail that is perfect for the background.

See that plane, banner, and clouds? They're from a new set called Plane And Simple, and it's so cute!

To make this card, I die cut a circle with the Outside In Stitched Circle from white cardstock, used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop to add the cloud details, and then inked the paper with Mermaid ink and my round ink blending tool. I also cut a piece of blue cardstock from the Dotted Circle Stackable to add as a frame behind the scene. The cloud die adds the perfect amount of detail to the scene without distracting from the cute plane and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Wild For You and Selfie Frames

Hello! I hope that you're enjoying the new Lawn Fawn sets this week!

Today we are showcasing the Wild For You set! The critters are all so cute and I really like how the elephants and mouse coordinate with the Elphie Selfie critters.

The circle is cut from the new Outside In Stitched Circle die. It's so neat that the die cuts detail on the inside and the outside (haha, hence the name!). I also added Lawn Trimmings and a sentiment stamped on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

My second card uses the Wild For You critters with the Selfie Frames dies. I also used the Heart dies for some extra detail around the frames.

Here is a close up on the critters. They're so cute in the party hats!

LF Inspiration Week: Duh-nuh and Ocean Wave Accents

Good morning! I hope that you all had a great weekend! I'm back to share another card with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the new Duh-nuh stamp set!

The shark is so cute in this set, and I really like the shark fin that can peek out from the water!

For this card, I die cut a piece of scrap paper from the longest die from the Ocean Wave Accents and used it as a mask to create the ocean waves with Mermaid Ink. I also die cut the scene to make little pockets to tuck in the shark, fish, and shark fin. Those little wave dies are so fun!

The Polaroid frame is also from a new die set called Say Cheese, Again! I have a feeling that I'll be using that frame die a lot!

Check out the rest of the design team projects on the Lawn Fawn blog and enter for a chance to win this fun set! Have a great day and I'll be back with more projects tomorrow! :)

LF Inspiration Week: You're Claw-some

Hi everyone! Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there! :)

The Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues with a look at the new You're Claw-some set!

This set is so cute! I remember playing the claw games when I was a kid with my brother and we were horrible at it, haha!

Lawn Fawn is so clever, too, because they designed the set so that the Slide On Over die fits perfectly at the top of the claw machine!

I also used the Bannertastic set to add the fun sentiment to the top of the card.

Here is a close up on those cute bears and the punny sentiment:

Stop by the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration. And there is still a lot of new Lawn Fawn products to share with you this week, yay! :)

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

LF Inspiration Week: Upon A Star

Good morning! I hope that you're enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week so far! Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the new Upon A Star stamp set and die!

This set might be my favorite from the release! The critters looking up at the stars are so cute, and I really like the big, scripty font!

For this first card, I used the new Outside In Stitched Square Stackables to create a frame for my scene. The grass is cut from Noble Fir cardstock from the Simple Grassy Hillsides die, and the sky is Mermaid cardstock. I also added a lot of foam tape (and I mean, a LOT!) to give it a ton of dimension.

For my second card, I used Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass inks to create a soft background scene. The constellations are stamped in Yeti ink, and I added a few die cut stars to the sky with foam tape.

The sentiment is stamped on cardstock and cut from the Everyday Sentiment Banners. Here's a close up on the night sky:

The rest of the design team has some awesome examples on the Lawn Fawn blog, and you can enter for a chance to win this cute set! Thanks for stopping by! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Magic Color Slider Die

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share my project with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, the design team is sharing projects created with the new Magic Color Slider die!

This die is so neat! I have seen slider cards like this before and was intimidated to make one myself, but this new LF die makes it so easy!

My card today uses the Plus One stamp set to create a gender reveal card! Just pull the slider and...

.. the color magically appears!!

It's such a fun surprise to reveal the scene when you pull the slider!

Do you see the "pull here" on the slider tab? That's a new stamp set, too, that is perfect for interactive cards!

The design team made some awesome projects with this die set! Check it out on the Lawn Fawn blog!

Thanks for stopping by! And no, I am not pregnant, haha! :)

This set is adorable! My card today features the pirate boy and his parrot sidekick finding treasure. I also used the Watercolor Wishes patterned paper and Stitched Hillside Border dies to help create the background scene. I really like the font that is used for the sentiments!
