Colorful Scalloped Border Card

Hi everyone! I'm back again to share a card that is featured on the Sunny Studio Stamp's blog!

This colorful card features Sunny Studio's "Sunny Borders" stamp set and die! This card also features the new Lawn Fawn cardstock - the colors are so pretty! I started by stamping the border on the colored cardstock and then used the dies to cut the scalloped edges. I arranged the paper on the kraft card base, trimmed the extra paper off the edges, and added the sentiment with black stickers. Here is a close up on the scalloped edges:

This card is so colorful and fun! I'm also sad to say, but this is my final post for the Sunny Studio Stamp's design team. I am really sad to be stepping down from the team, but my husband and I are expecting our second child in about 2 weeks! (Ahh, this pregnancy went by so fast!!) With the new changes coming our way, I thought it was best to take some time to focus on my family. We can't wait for our little boy to arrive!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you have a great weekend! :)

Lawnscaping #126 - Sweets

Hi there! It's that time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge! Yay!

The challenge is to use something sweet on your project. Here is the card that I created for this challenge:

I added a sweet, blue cupcake! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Jungle," "Simple Stitched Hillside Borders," "Bake Me a Cake," "Clark's ABCs," "Happy Everything," and patterned paper from Perfectly Plaid and Let's Polka in the Meadow. I started by adding the blue and green patterned paper to the card base, and stamping the sentiment. I had to mirror stamp the snake to get the one facing the other way, and I added cute, little birthday hats! I also stamped and colored the cupcake, grass, and flowers. I cut out the images and attached them to the scene with glue.

The snakes look excited to take a lick of that yummy cupcake! Hehe!

I hope that you're able to play along with us because the winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! :)

Bright Spot In My Day Card

Hi everyone! I have a card to share with you this morning that is being featured on the Sunny Studio Stamp's blog!

This card features the "Sunny Sentiments" stamp and die, and "Rain or Shine" stamp and die sets. I started by inking the middle of my card base in Lawn Fawn "Mermaid" ink. Then, I stamped, colored the images with Prismacolor pencils, and die cut them with the coordinating dies. The rainbow is attached with glue, and the sun and clouds are attached with foam tape. The sentiment is stamped in "Manatee" ink, and I also added some hearts around the images with the Mermaid ink.

Here is a close up on the images. That sun is just so cute with that smiley face!!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope that your week is going well! :)

Colorful Easter Egg Card

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share a colorful Easter egg card that is being featured on the Sunny Studio Stamp's blog this morning!

This card features Sunny Studio Stamps "A Good Egg" stamp set and die. I started by stamping the Easter eggs multiple times on white card stock, coloring them with Prismacolor pencils, and die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I attached the white panel onto some Perfectly Plaid patterned paper from Lawn Fawn, and then attached it to the card base. I also added some clear stickles to the stripes and dots for some extra detail. Here is a close up on the card:

Hi again everyone! I'm excited to share an Easter card with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Happy Easter," "Everyday Sentiment Banners," "Puffy Cloud Bordesr", "Stitched Hillside Border" dies, "Heart" dies, "Stitched 4 Bar Rectangle" dies, and some of the new LF cardstock - chili pepper, mermaid, and noble fir. I die cut the frame and then attached the clouds, hillside, and sky behind the frame. I attached the bunnies with foam tape, and glued the hearts and eggs to the scene. I finished the card by adding the sentiment banner and twine bow to the top!

Thanks for stopping by and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing this card on the Lawn Fawn blog today! I hope you like the card! Enjoy the rest of your week! :)

Lawnscaping #125 - Color Splash

Hello! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This weeks challenge is to make a black and white card with a splash of color! Here is the card that I created:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Cole's ABCs" dies, "Stitched 4 Bar Rectangle" dies, "Happy Everything," "Rooting For You," and Let's Polka in the Meadow paper. I also used Avery Elle's "Peonies" stamp set for the flowers and leaves. The flowers are all colored with Prismacolor pencils, and I also added some black stickles to the sentiment for some sparkle! The frame around the sentiment is created by using two of the rectangle dies together.

I hope that you're able to play along with us for this challenge because the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

Home Sweet Home Card

Hi everyone! I'm sharing a card this morning on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog that features the "Backyard Bugs" stamp set and dies!

One of my friends is moving soon, so I created this card to give them when they move into their new home! The images are all stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers (I got a few more colors!). I also used Sunny Studio's "Happy Home" set for the sentiment and "Sunny Borders" for the banner. The images are all attached with foam tape to make them stand out against the card base. Here is a close up:
