Weather It Together Card

Hello there! I hope that you are all having a great week! I have a card to share with you today that is featured on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog that showcases the "Rain or Shine" stamp set and die!

I stamped two of the puppies and colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I wanted the puppies to look like they had their arms around each other! I added a colorful umbrella to help block the raindrops from those grey clouds!

I also used a white gel pen to add some details to the umbrella. The raindrops are also stamped in some blue ink!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out this card! Have a great day! :)

Happy Easter Card with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi everyone! I'm back to share a card with you that features Sunny Studio Stamp's "A Good Egg" stamp set and die!

I used some light blue card stock for the card base, and die cut some grassy hills from green card stock by using Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Hillside Borders" and "Puffy Cloud Borders," I then stamped the images from "A Good Egg" onto white card stock and colored the images with Prismacolor pencils. I also added some details with a white gel pen.

I attached the chicks and baskets with foam tape, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and added some green twine to the top of the card! Those chicks are just so cute!

I hope that your week is going well! Check out the Sunny Studio Stamps blog for some more inspiration! :)

Lawnscaping #124 - Celebration!

Happy Monday! I hope that you had a good weekend and Valentine's Day! My husband and I are going out to lunch today, assuming that the weather cooperates! We are suppose to get a few inches of snow today - boo!

On a brighter note, there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge this morning! Yay! The challenge is to create a celebration card.

I decided to create a birthday card for this challenge, so here is my card:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Gleeful Gardens," "Milk and Cookies," and "Good Fortune" stamp sets, "Scalloped Rectangles Stackables," "Hillside Border" die, "Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles" die, and Let's Polka Mon Amie patterned paper. The images are all stamped and colored with Prismacolor pencils and attached with foam tape. Some of the images, like the presents, have two layers of foam tape so that they really stand out in the scene. Here is a close up on the card:

This cute scene is definitely going to brighten someones birthday! :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you're able to play along with this challenge! The winner will receive a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn (and they have some super cute new stamps available on Thursday!!)

Thanks! Have a great day! :)

Hello Sunshine

Good morning! I hope that things are going well with you all! I have a card to share with you this morning that features some of the new Sunny Studio Stamps products!

This card features the "Sunny Sentiments" stamp and die, "Sunshine Word" die, "Stitched Heart" die and "Rain or Shine" die (for the really small hearts). I cut the clouds from blue card stock, and used polka dot patterned paper for the sun and hearts. The sentiment is cut from blue glittery paper to give it some shimmer! And, the clouds are attached with different amounts of foam tape to add some extra dimension to the card.

I hope that you like the card! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Sending a Little Love Note Cards

Hello! I wanted to quickly share some Valentine's that were featured on the Sunny Studio Stamp's blog earlier this week!

I wanted a quick Valentine that would be perfect to throw in my husbands lunch box or tie onto a Valentine's Day gift for friends!

These note cards feature "Sending My Love" stamp and die sets, as well as the grass die from the "Sunny Sentiments" dies. I started by cutting the note cards from white card stock and inking the bottom portion in blue ink. Then I added the grass cut from green card stock. The images are all stamped onto white card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils, and glued to the note card. Finally, I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in black ink. I created one note card with each of the critters from this stamp set.

I also added the heads and hands with foam tape to give it some more dimension on the note cards. Here is close up on the bunny note card:

Love Love Love

Hello again! I'm back again to share a card that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning!

I wanted to make something colorful and cute for Valentine's Day! This card features Lawn Fawn's large and small "Stitched Square Stackables" dies, "Scripty Love" die, and a few Lawn Fawn inks - Mermaid, Wild Rose, and Sunflower

I started by die cutting the love three times from white card stock. I then used the Lawn Fawn inks to color the die cuts, starting at the bottom and making it a little bit lighter at the top. I attached the die cuts to the card base with glue.

I also used the square dies to create a border and attached it with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping a few hearts around the sentiment in the coordinating inks. Here is a close up on the card:

Thanks for stopping by! And thank you, Kelly, for sharing this card on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning! :)

Lawnscaping #123 - Sending Love

Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend! We were able to spend some time outside yesterday because it was about 55 degrees! That's a heat wave for central PA in January! The rest of this week is suppose to be fairly nice as well! I feel like we're getting spoiled with this nice weather!

Anyways, it's the first Monday in February, which means it's time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This challenge is to use hearts or love sentiments on your projects, so this is the card that I created:

I haven't used that airplane set in such a long time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" and "Riley's ABCs" stamp set, "Heart," "Scripty Love" and "Puffy Cloud Borders" dies. I also used Wild Rose ink and patterned paper from the Beachside petite paper pack.

Here is a close up on the card:

I hope that you're able to play along with the challenge this week! The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)
